Smart idea how you included the light brush itself.
Good work, and a very attractive object aswell as the background.
I like the idea, and I like the picture. Has a very nice mood. A pity there were so many sandbags distributed in this challenge.
Of course! This was too easy, next time I'll make it harder ;-)
Thanks Mick, I appreciate your feedback, and to the other guys glad about the encouraging votes.
Nice job.
Very nice now, pure.
Looks very nice.
Anatoli, if you reduce dark even more you may get close to what you mean (sense of outer space). Water is still (too) visible. - The swans have potential to reduce the white to see more detail of the feathers (reduce highlights). You may also consider to switch to b&w and crop (a little) as Zhaark advised.
Just try it for yourself and then judge. :-)
Very nice shot and colors. CG33's is a good advice.
Nice colors. I don't think the vignette should be applied so intensively here. The objects are quite strong in their exposure compared to the background. Maybe they were brush-masked to lighten them up. That's ok (if so) but they look like taken out of their context (little bit artificial). Less may be more here, particularly because the wooden floor is really nice and should get more attention. I think the right balance is your task.
Nice shot, hard to find something to improve. Maybe you could play a little more with the light to make the objects look more three-dimensional (contrast, lighting). You see, like the reflection of the yellow one, it has a certain strength that you should apply to the object itself. Also valid for the small ones. Just looking for something ;-)
Interesting shot, could be a submission for the "What is this" challenge. Don't know if you have the possibility to re-shoot to get at least one of the three objects more in focus. This would make a nicy contrast to the blurred background. About the composition I think it's good.
Inrteresting shot. Maybe you find ways to elaborate the structure of the bark (play with contrast, clarity, sharpness). You should also consider to make it b&W.
And the I would crop the sides just until they meet the trees on the upper part.
I would also change the underground. Imagine some steel plate where you can see the reflections of the cars, like a mirror (but I wouldn't take a mirror). Agree with Epix to improve the lighting. Some side light could pronounce the details of especially the black car.
Looks good. Maybe a small thought: I liked the way the stipes were showing each in a singular direction on the other 3 apples in this challenge. Could be good for your picture, too, if you turn the green apple clockwise some amount.
edit: Also I would still crop a little on each side.
looks better now
Very attractive watches, sure a good hint to see them all within focus. Do you think you can get rid of at least some amount of the light-blue reflection on the middle watch? The numbers on the clock face are so cute, and the reflection is catching the eye a little bit too much.
Agree. It could make the foto simplier and stronger.
Dito. In this view it is not a problem, but looking full size you may want to eliminate some of the reflections around the eyes (only the smaller ones - the biggest one on each eye looks interesting in this view, almost natural).
