I think this interview is more realistic:
Just one thing to say:
Simon97: This should be titled, "Do We Really Need Four Articles in One Day on the Fuji X30?".
Really DPR, cut it down to a couple articles.
It's hard to read essentially the same over and over.
More like "Pixel-shi|tting".
You can get a new Helios 40 85mm F1.5 lens for $420.
Same or better bokeh effect, faster aperture, and less ridiculous and more functional design.
DStudio: It will be interesting to see whether Fuji can elevate this class of lens by better design and manufacturing, like they have with some others.
Hope it happens like the 18-55mm OIS "kit" lens.
nikon power: Carl Zeiss to Sigma is Mercedes to Volkswagen. I'd go for the name, Mercedes, if I got the money.
Thanks, Captain Obvious
D1N0: Just Pay 30% more and get a Fuji xt-1
@BarnET Pointless people
Another useless thing that only hipsters will buy
peevee1: No VR again. For tripod-only photographers.
You have parkinson or really bad pulse
Excellent, more crap that nobody needs
Der Steppenwolf: Here is a D610 review:It's a D600 with functioning shutter.
And more expensive.
Klarth: Why does everyone wants VR on every lens?
Do you have Parkinson's?
That's where technique come in handy
Why does everyone wants VR on every lens?
ManuelVilardeMacedo: It was all going well until I read the word 'smartphone'. A useful tool, they say, in that it helps with composition and calculating depth of field... WHAT?C'mon: a mobile phone is always in everyone's pocket and it's useful in case of an emergency; but saying a smartphone is useful for helping with compositional basics and calculating depth of field is pushing things too far. If you can't compose and determine depth of field by looking into the viewfinder, chances are you suck as a photographer. In such case the iPhone won't help your case.
Oh yeah... Poor Ansel Adams. He didn't have an Iphone.
"...if you plan on taking serious pictures"
Thanks for making me laugh!!!
T34: Well, so you think this lens will be the equal of a Nikon or Canon 24-70mm f2.8? Guess again! You get what you pay for in Life, Tamron lenses are Junk! For every Ten they make, maybe your lucky enough to get one that's actually sharp, the rest will be soft. Don't waste your money!
Another man's junk...
But i agree that Sigma QC is deplorable.
