I just bought a XZ-2 in Hong Kong and was given 2 Li50B batteries (by an authorized dealer) as part of the package of "extras" in lieu of the Li90B, which they did not have stock of.  So perhaps...

That is a big plus.  As I said, it does help Panasonic spread out its product line a bit, moving the GH3 up sizewise, further from G3/G5.  This does give buyers the option of a larger Panasonic...

Sizewise its more like a small DSLR, and less m43!But I guess since Panasonic does not have any DSLR products (unlike Sony, Olympus, etc.), its not too strange "product lline-up"-wise.

There are times when a good LCD matters, including for manual focus, and in general quite helpful when capturing macros.
