This is getting more entertaining than the Durex deal threads on Slickdeals, if you know what I mean.
Amadou Diallo: Hi everyone,I'll be speaking with an Adobe rep in a few moments about this move. If you have any specific questions you'd like answered please reply to this post.
Could you ask them which bozo took this decision? Also ask them to fire that bozo before the customers decide to fire them.
or without doing the same thing to Lightroom.
I hope someday Adobe realizes that this was a very very bad decision and I also hope that they realize that "someday" is today.
borisz: I've heard that Adobe's competitors went to church today to light a candle and to thank Lord for these great news...
Example of a company exploiting it's monopoly to the fullest. After the acquisition of Nik software, I hope Google senses the opportunity, ups the ante and makes Adobe lament about this decision. Not that I like Google to monopolize this sector, it's just that Adobe needs to realize that they can't get away with whatever crap they throw at their customers.
Kodachrome200: my question is if the hardware is capable of uncompressed hdmi why didnt it do that to begin with
That exactly is my question too. They like to nickle and dime for everything. Even now, I think Canon hasn't willingly promised these new features. They have done this just because the competition has these features. If these features weren't available on Nikon cameras in the same category I don't think Canon would have added these features.
tkbslc: If this has even half decent optics it should make a huge dent in Canon and Nikon 24-70 sales. It's nearly half the price AND comes with stabilizer.
I am hoping that the optics is atleast as good as the Canon MK I version and the price comes close to $1000 in few months ( maybe after . If that's the case then it certainly should make a dent in Canon/ Nikon sales.
