Yes, the 1DX deliver more power to the AF motor. This comes handy when shooting with the longer tele lenses who has to move larger and heavier glass.

I use my Transcend USB 3.0 card reader with a USB 2.0 port. other than that, all is good. My guess is that your card reader has a problem :)

hehe... You're welcome! :)But seriously, if you need good AF, at least wait and see some reports about the 6D's AF before buying! For me, AF perfomance is very important!

I respectfully disagree with you statement regarding 5D3's AF!I know nothing about Nikon's AF, but coming from a 7D I must say the the 5D3's AF is many times better. My keepers rate has increased...
