About me:

We live in history. The most interesting photos to me are the ones which weren't taken
today. Today's mundane is tomorrow's priceless gem.

Gearóid Ó Laoi, Garry Lee's current gear

Canon PowerShot S90
Fujifilm X10
Canon EOS-1D Mark IV
Tiny and weighs nothing. Fuji X10 has better IQ but this one isn't bad. Great at base iso
If you want a REALLY light camera with a great lens and good in poor light, this is it. For it's sensor size, it's great
Not perfect as AF I rate at 80% accurate, but then what is perfect. It's a phenomenal camera in my experience.
Canon EOS-1D X
Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1
Sony Alpha NEX-7
Canon EF 100mm f/2.0 USM
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM
Canon EF 20mm f/2.8 USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
This is phenomenally useful. Mine is sharp edge to edge wide open at all FL. Perfect for a wedding. I've dropped it three times and it's still perfect.
Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Canon EF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 II

Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM
Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
Panasonic Lumix G 20mm F1.7 ASPH
Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH OIS
Panasonic Lumix G Vario 45-200mm F4-5.6 OIS
Sigma 1.4x EX DG Tele Converter
This is a VERY good lens up to 150mm (=300mm). Above that it badly looses edge sharpness. I don't use it above 150
Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM
Sigma 2x EX DG Tele Converter
Sigma 300mm F2.8 APO EX DG HSM
My favourite lens. Not too heavy, sharp edge to edge wide open. Mine was front focussing which Sigma fixed. If you'e MFAing this lens do it at 15m, not less. The AF is really fast and silent. Lens is not weatherproof though I've never got damp in it. I put a plastic bag over it if it's wet. I almost always use it wide open. There's a lot to learn about using such lenses, e.g. shooting a runner side on is hit and miss.
