I like to shoot in the mountains around 5000-7000 feet with a lot of water themes.
With a polarizer, the colors are more saturated, the water is clearer, the glint of sun is gone.

To my eyes, (but they ARE 56 years old), the skin tones are kind of over-bright in the first couple of color photos?

If you haven't repeatedly pressed the shutter release, try it. My new D90 'stuck' and that was Nikon's telephone advice. It worked.
