Not at the price point I question awarding Gold. All thing considered it is the video which is the stand out feature not stills which is mediocre.

If you look at Dpreview comparison the D800 shows very soft edges that obscures details.

Dpreview sold it soul to the devil call Amazon.

For what it is it is not worth $450. Maybe look at sourcing cheaper alternative parts for manufacturing.
