Wow. the 75mm f/1.8 is the sharpest m43 lens and Sigma made it.
stiinek: iPhone? So why is in Exif: HTC Desire S ?
Without your catch, every phone is iPhone.
Esign: Come to think of it, as a weekend project, I can make my own grip from a piece of scrap wood and stick to my Canon EOS-M. Now, what should I call it when it's ready?
Call it Hasselblad "Milky Way"
The 30mm prime is worse than the 18-35 zoom.
Assume diffraction limited lens, the maximum resolution is about 3 Mpix at f/5.9.
mpgxsvcd: Most novice users think they need a 1200mm zoom lens. What they will actually need is a 20mm F2.8 lens and a good pair of walking shoes.
Yeah, bring a 20mm f/2.8 to ladies with bathing suit and they'll slam you to the face. Tele is safer.
Well made for beach shot.
The G15 is f/4.5 1/60s ISO 100 but the Q7 is f/4.5 1/25s ISO 100. How come?
rb59020: Ordered mine in black from B&H this afternoon as it is @ $399.00
From the artical:■Excellent image quality in JPEG and Raw■Fast autofocus■10fps full-res burst mode■1cm Macro mode allows extreme closeups■Raw files contain a lot of extra detail in both highlights and shadows■Dedicated Movie record button■Built-in sensor-shift and pixel-track shake reduction
But still just a "74"?
Must of been the missing hot shoe. :-(
74% is not bad. I don't see any competitor gets 80% or higher.
M43 is an open mount system. How come they do "manual focus" only?
Look like DxO does not have anything to write.
TheProv: A no sense buy. G15 canon, panasonic lx7, Olympus xz-2, nikon p7700 all has faster lenses, same or better range or both them. On the same sensor. With smaller body.
Until pentax make ultra wide angle or extreme telephoto.... Dou you believe in it?
If superzoom is as good as you said, they should have 18-125(200)(250)mm X100s, GR, Coolpix A, RX1
marike6: It's probably the same sensor as in the MX-1, which is a great performer. My only wish is that they had found a way to upgrade the 460 K LCD. Viewfinder-less cameras absolutely should have the best LCD panels possible.
As far as the lenses, I'm wondering did they purposely design the Q lenses with a large enough image circle to cover a 1/1.7" sensor? If so, why didn't they just build the original Q with this sensor?
I think at the time they design the Q, they only have 1/2.3" sensor available.
Superzoom lenses cannot beat individual prime in IQ.
I wish it were a Galaxy Note series not S series.
ybizzle: Just compared the JPEG high ISO (1600-6400) between the A, GR, and X100S and the X100S destroys these cams. Glad I went with the X100S for the same price as the A. Plus you get a hybrid view finder and faster lens!
Stop comparing those ISO. Are you sure X100s ISO 3200 = Coolpix A ISO 3200 = GR ISO 3200?
vodanh1982: I don't see any low light AF/accuracy tests. The different between K-5 and K-5II(s) is concentrated on new AF sensor.
Sorry. My Bad.
I don't see any low light AF/accuracy tests. The different between K-5 and K-5II(s) is concentrated on new AF sensor.
corner = 1/2 center. Is it Nex-7 or lenses characteristic?
I woke up and saw this news just like a dream. I thought everyone know the pricing, blah blah blah months ago? Is this real that they just make an announcement today?
