Yeah, as soon as I got my D7100, I noticed it brought out the worst in some of my lenses. The previously regarded "very sharp" Nikon 50mm F/1.8D turned into mush (the 1.8G is supposedly...

Definitely. If I was gonna shell out full price for a decent mirrorless camera, I'd rather get a Nikon D5200 (or the new D5300) instead, to go alongside my D7100. Because of the massive drop in...

Considering the weight, it can't not be made of metal. It's quite hefty compared to anything the same size. Here's a shot of the camera...

Maybe he's trying to remove the antialiasing filter?

Just wondering if there's anything out there that's smaller than a standard flash. I know the 90EX is available, but it's fixed position. Does anyone have experience with the 270EX on the M, or...

Yup, 1080p60 is the best setting, until 2.7K60. :3 I prefer 1080p60 because you can also add motion blur on 24/30fps playback by interpolating the odd frames, to get rid of the high shutter speed...

Still using the same sensor and processor, so no surprise in the lack of increased frame rates. The GoPro 4 will almost definitely have that. That said, there isn't much to make me want to...

Any pics of the lens mounted to the M? Considering it's sharpness, this might win as my next lens vs the 11-22. :)

Usually I'd be fine with knock off/generic adapters for manual lenses, but these are passing data and electricity, so there's a chance they could fry your camera and/or lens if something isn't...

Magic Lantern has some advance power saving features, as well, which can dim the display, and turn off screen updates to reduce CPU usage.

Since you have a 650D, the EOS M would be the perfect compliment to it, having the same image quality and using the same lenses (with adapter). Remember, though, that the M isn't a scaled down DLSR...

I've used both ACR/LR and DPP, and my biggest criticisms are the coarseness of the adjustments, their lack of range, and the lack of adjustments in general. I like to get the most dynamic range out...

Yeah, don't bother. I tried DPP, and it's just as limited as Nikon's ViewNX. ACR/Lightroom is vastly superior in its features, flexibility, performance, and ease of use.

Check out Magic Lantern. Easy to install/uninstall, and has some features that will help macro work, including focus peaking and automated focus stacking.

No, I have a D7100, so I just needed to move the shadows, highlights, and whites sliders in ACR to get a, HDR image. Something like...

Well, it's kinda like Apple saying "Hey, you know that pro you hired, with the expensive professional gear, who spent years refining his technique? Good news! You can fire him! The iPhone 5s is...

Apparently the Chicago Sun-Times didn't think that was an issue. ;)

Considering Apple's quote during the speech: "It used to be that to take better pics, you just learned to become a better photographer." Apparently Apple doesn't think much about professional...
