That's good, at least they are onto it and it sounds like it might bee sorted out sooner rather than later.
As for X Trans files, there's another thread running that would suggest it is not a good...

Cheers... I guess this is one of the reasons I was undecided about using dng and ended up using camera raw files with sidecar files. Any files with significant alterations are then saved as tiffs.
-
eerrrrr yes.... looking at Bob's example above I think that would be a good idea! As he says, they will have sold quite a few express / pro versions over the last few days so hopefully they will be...

They Seem in high demand at the moment. shortages all over. l think the 100s doesn't have full Support in c1 Yet as well!
-
Good to know, Maybe I won 't try and convert to DNG tomorrow. I wonder if this is specific to XE1 files only or all Fuji RAF files!
-
I have exported files as Tiff files etc without a problem. Do you use the "Process recipes" section where you can create an export type, destination etc?
-
I haven't tried outputting X Pro1 files as a DNG unfortunately. I will try it tomorrow to see what happens.
I used to convert sony files to DNG but stopped as I wasn't convinced I was really saving...

I can't imagine there'll be a problem. I have tested adding keywords in C1 and they appear in LR and vice versa. What you need to make sure is that in LR, "Automatically Write Changes to XMP" is...

I'm doing this at the moment. Processing the file in C1 creating the final Tiff & temp Jpg copy in C1 and storing the Raw and Tiff in the folder and cataloging the two in LR.
I then send the Jpg's...

I agree 100%. The detail from C1 is very good and default colours are very rich. They make the LR ones look washed out. I know you can tweak the colours via presets etc in LR (which I used to do)...

Then they move to the new better sensor.
When I buy into a system camera like the X Pro 1, I'm really buying into the lenses (a long term / lifetime purchase) and the camera bodies come and go as...

It ain't that bad :-) As well as landscape shots I use my X Pro1 for walking, climbing and scrambling shots. Here are a few examples at Alamy from my last trip out.

Lovely shots, like the last 14mm one, very nice. I agree 100% about the two lenses, your kit bag is the same as mine although I have the 60mm as well for close up / detail stuff. I really like the...

Thanks for this. I opted for the Pro version in the end. Some shots that had blowen out reds (sunsets and flowers) in LR were perfect in the Express version of C1 and the watercolour effect could...

True. I tend not to use much sharpening as agencies don't like it, they prefer to leave it up to the clients to apply the level of sharpening they want. As such, I avoid using it when ever I can,...

I have the Voigtlander 12mm and Fuji 14mm. The sample images are not better than either of the two lenses I have.
The sharpness maybe marginally better than the Voigtlander in the extreme corners...

Pretty much bang on about the Fuji lenses.
Until last year I was a Canon user, had the 400d, 40d and the 5d mkii. Last year I picked up a Nex 7 and lenses to try and find a mini me for the 5dmkii....

You'll like the 60mm, amazing level of detail and it wasn't as slow as I was expecting (after reading the negative comments). I wanted it for close up work, not necessarily macro, landscapes with...

Nice shot.... I rather like the 18-55 lens, quite quick at focusing and nice and sharp! Good to see you are still enjoying it!
I sold the last of my Nex gear now... has your's made it to eBay...

The Voigtlander at f/8 f/11 was showing signs of softness on the edges. There appears to be a definite difference compared to the centre which is extremely sharp. I think I will go for the 14mm and...
