What I love about DPR is their honesty. They are not afraid to bash any manufacturer that doesn't put their best foot forward and be really clear about their target audience. DPR praised Nikon...

Seems reasonably priced for all the features one gets. Any good competition to this?

The people who shoot portraits. This is the perfect range for them.

This is the perfect portrait focal range. It's not supposed to be a walk around or telephoto. Not sure people are getting this.

Print them up to 8x12. But also, may want to crop, hence why I asked if it's worth getting them at higher res if the cost is marginal.

Hello, Just wanted to ask the pros what's the best slide scanner on the market and at what resolution do you guys suggest? I, like many others, have tons of slides and I just discovered a whole ...

The HUGE viewfinders with split prism focus screen in the those manual SLR cameras is what made photography such a pleasure. It allowed you to totally engage with your subject. I, for one, would...

I have a stand alone version of LR 6 which I bought on line about 3 years ago. I'm upgrading my computer and not sure how to install my LR6 onto the new computer. Can anyone advise me on how to do ...

Thanks everyone for you input. It's a tough choice because I do take a lot of indoor pics so low light is important to me. However, I also take a lot of portraits as well and know the zoom will ...

Of course there's no substitute for fast primes and there's always compromises. But the versatility of this zoom for both landscape, architecture, indoor and street photography is fantastic,...

That is the perfect range, size and price point. I don't see the need for an f2.8 anymore with such sensitive modern sensors, especially for a wide angle. Well done Nikon!

The LX7 series was a huge hit because of it's small size and fast 1.4 lens and only superseded by 1" sensors. Panasonic's successors were too big. Compact and light weight are still sought after....

Well, there's your problem. If you're relying on just Sigma (since Leica is way out reach for most people) and possibly Panasonic's own glass, (yet to be released and very limited in scope) it...

I love the Panasonic menu system and their colours. Their video specs have also been top notch. But this is an example of stretching yourself too thin in my opinion. I'm not convinced this is...
