Excellent shots - still waiting on our arrivals in the New England area.

The Coolpix A is critically sharp with excellent details comparing to other cameras including the D800E - to my eyes - the images are true raw rather then cooked raw.

This actually make sense since this is the lens packaged with this body - for the buyer this kit - they would want to see these samples - but I do agreed that a better lens would be nice for folks...

Perhaps one of the reason being the removal of AA filter translating to less cost to manufacturing/production - smart move on Nikon part.

I got it for less then $,1600.00 ....

I shot with the D600 - D800/E and chose the D700 over these and just brought/received my mint D700 with 6k shutter counts second hand - so far I'm impressed by the ISO and speed with grip/Nikon...
