I prefer to place the subject at 3/4 rather than at a quarter of the pic . In any case I think there is too much blur that hinders the wonderful picture of the flower.

Bird drinking from a fountain - is it acceptable ?
A square format, elimineting the red distraction, will improve this colorful, sharp pic.
Most of the roses in this callenge are frontal.
I prefer the more original - profile.

A beautiful pic, as Ruth mentioned a little crupping from the left, and in my opinion from the top too, will improve the outcome.
I think that a square formt will fit better the shape of your's subject and will eliminate the blur at the top of the pic.
