My kids were most impressed and inspired by the sportsmanship of the two teams. I would love to get this image autograph by the helmsmen of these teams as a memento for my kids.

Day one of the America's Cup 2013. The beginning of the best racing series I have ever experienced. Here the the two teams are crossing paths head to head.

A big thank you to all involved in the America's cup for making it a true family sport. Each race was highly anticipated and thoroughly enjoyed.

Should you ever find yourself lost at night in a dark sky, there is one sure way to find North. Polaris, the North Star, can be seen in this picture shining like an anchor light atop the mast, holding position in the sky while the Earth continue to turn for this nearly 9-minute exposure. City light generates the orange glow, but the green in the sky is “airglow”. Airglow is a weak emission of green light in the upper atmosphere when Nitrogen and Oxygen combine and should not be confused with an aurora.
