Totalled. Heading down a city street when someone gunned out of side street right in front of me. If I had been ONE second earlier, I'd be dead.

After several setbacks, my niece finally graduated as an RN. This is after the official graduation/pinning.

These were quite the accent in my backyard garden until a torrential downpour pounded them a few days later.

For a while I did freelance newspaper reporting and one of the jobs was to shoot the covers for quarterly health supplements. I had just gotten my first digital camera--a Coolpix 990, and I had two adapter lenses for it. The space was tight, and bare except for the x-ray boards. The doctor didn't know what to do, so I said, "Light the board, and look like you are scrutinizing one of the x-rays." I crushed myself up against the wall very close to him and shot back into the room. I am a wide angle/fisheye kinda gal.
