dpreview, the only place where the commentards complain when a nuclear robot on another planet doesn't have enough megapixels...
Grow up you idiots, you know who you are.
Denis James Evans: Keep dxo's biases out of the camera reviews. If dxo has any influence in the camera reviews, I will never visit this site again. Dxo is a blight on the industry!
just because Canon can't match Nikon's sensors means you think DxO is biased?
My god, grow a pair...
Jogger: My first thought is that this is a thinly veiled advertorial. Would Bloom's work have been showcased without his connection to Apple???
not sure, but has anyone else noticed how doctored that xp background image is? You can clearly tell at least one car has been removed from it (there is a road at the bottom of the hill, google xp background image location).
Münchhausen: Two questions, to DPREVIEW: 1) I didn´t see a extensiv comment on the viewfinder (maybe I didn´t find it - or did you give up this very usefull section of your reviews?)2) I´m a little bit intrigued by the score (I´m not the only one, it seems). I have a Pentax K-5, following your scores, I rather stay with my very cheap (800 Euros, at the moment in Europe) K-5 that scores at 83; but if I look at the images produced by the D800, they are clearly better, in my eyes (even if I like the excellent K-5 IQ a lot). So, should I stay with the K-5? (A kind of rhetorical question...)
as said before in these comments previously, the K-5 is a different category according to DPReview so you can't compare scores.
do7slash: what i don't understand is people's obsession with the video quality on these DSLRs.
Shirley the main reason to buy a DSLR is for still photography? Buy a dedicated video camera if you want to shoot video?
fair enough, and no! ;)
what i don't understand is people's obsession with the video quality on these DSLRs.
