…and it tells me that you could never be happy with the 12-35 because it is f2.8.
You would go nuts trying to wrench it open wider even though your have the 5 way IBIS on the EM5 to do its stuff...

I took some nice pix with the 17 but in the end preferred the 14. Sharper, less CA. And smaller. And wider. I like the extra width.
