Neoviny: I all. I stumbled over this great compact-cam a few days ago as I was checking out some options for my next cam. At first I wanted a outdoor-waterproof-cam for our maldives-holiday (01/2013), but I didn't like the IQ of two top-rated cams. So I changed plans and focussed on compact cams to combine them with an underwater-housing. well, and than after looking at the canon S95 + housing I found the RX100 - wow - what a cam. Seems to be my most-wanted cam, but :

Does anybody know, if there will be an underwaterhousing for this cam? Sony told me that there is no housing "at the moment". Or is there a third-party housing that fits the RX100??? Well: there is one, the Recsea housing, but I won't spend 1100 $ for a snorkeling trip! Something about 200 or 250$ is the max...

Thanks in advance for any help on that topic!

Yes, indeed. I got a reply from Ikelite and they told me that there could be a housing after 5 to 8 weeks. I think that it will be only a matter of time ....

And before I forget it: Ewa-Marine replied that the RX100 fits into the "3D-L" bag, but I'm not 100% sure, cause the measurements (depth) of the cam are a bit to long...
