that's as good as it gets for a bif
It's a Common Sandpiper, not a plover
Not sure I understand. I've changed nothing and I'm still accessing my Picasa albums from the same link that I always have
That's brilliant, I've never seen a Damsel or Dragon in the dark
Love that shot, where was it taken?
I love all these comments and the way they show that for every person you please you upset another. I don't often feel sorry for politicians but they have this problem every day.
A couple of points of my own. What's all the fuss about flat and threaded I use both in different circumstances and the default is whatever I left it asThe one thing I miss compared to other forums is a count of how many readers , not just repliers. It puts a lot of perspective around the importance of the subject to the general reader.
barb_s: This is the pick of the host! I just love this one!
Well that is much appreciated
Worth everyone of the five stars I gave you, 94th absurd
I gave you 5 stars, it is a superb picture and a superb bird image. I'll never understand how other people don't see how good some of these shots yet in my view cast their votes for far lower quality
I gave 5 stars to 5 pictures , this was one of them, I can't believe 57th it is a fantastic capture, congratulations
A great shot which I gave 5 stars worth way more than its placing IMO. I came 73rd with a dark shot and someone has commented on my picture that dark shots don't to very well on these challenges I wonder if there is any truth in that.
I gave you 5 stars and think it is a great shot. I came 73rd and I thought if any picture was much better than mine it was this one. I do have one tiny cricism I wish you hadn't chopped the the guy on the left in half, a little cropping to remove him all would have finished it off.
Well you were 10th on my list 115 places higher than you ended up. IMO there was no better image for showing back to front DOF. Shame that other voters didn't share my enthusiasm. Bettrer luck next time.
