Emacs23: Two lenses in the light path? That doesn't sound too good.
These are micro-lenses. At this stage, you do not care too much about distortions, chromatic aberrations or any such thing. The only important thing is that the light travels in roughly the correct direction.
zodiacfml: I'm not an expert on Pentax DSLRs but I still recall previously that their RAW files immediately include noise reduction and praising the K-30 with good noise performance would mislead some people.
You're right, but it's stated in the review: "Some noise reduction is applied to Raw files at ISO 3200 and higher, regardless of how you have high ISO noise reduction set in the menu system, but the effect is subtle, and does not appear to have a significant impact on detail reproduction."
Absolutic: Pentax just need some big company with deep pockets to buy them. Not sure how long they can survive on their own. Sony or somebody else, buy them already.
