I am surprised people are ready to throw 4 digit sums Fuji's way. One of Fuji's strongest selling points is being cheaper and lighter in delivering superb results. I don't see how pricing a popular...

X-E1 user for 3 months here switching from GH1. Comparing to GH1 EVF sucks big time. It's small, it's laggy and somehow it's got poor details even in good light. You can forget about manual...

I had my own test at the recent Chinese New Year parade shooting with GH1. In very low light the pancake had major problems focusing fast and accurately when it came down to shooting lion dance. It...

I personally found it producing sharp but flat images. Nowhere as sharp as Oly 75 though and on par with old legacy cheap manual primes. And colours were very meh for me. A very good utility lens...

It's not the slowest out there but still quite sluggish on my GH1. IQ is also average at best. But being cheap and compact something's gotta give.
-
Anyway, it started restarting again now. Will be calling Fuji on Monday, sadface.

Thank you guys. Helped much.

Guys, can someone please gently shake their 18-55 lens and tell if they feel there is something loose inside?
-
It shoots ok in good indoors light though (shutter above 60 and ISO under 3200 and minimum aperture is enough). AF is fairly quick.
-
In not a very good indoors light I have AF misses (red square) one out of three times. If the target is moving more than that. Not sure how uncharacteristic is that.

Got X-E1 delivered yesterday. First thing I did was taking few shots and then upgrading lens and body firmware to 1.01 and 1.04 respectively. However, after the upgrade and restart the camera began...

Either I am blind or my amazing TN monitor sucks or both but to me OOC jpegs are still better. Yet there is noticeable improvement in ACR hands down.Is there a preset coming with LR called "do me...

If there is an adapter for existing range why would they produce another body with M-mount? What gives?I don't get it.

I noticed here down under X-E1 price has been going down last couple of months. On Xmas best deal for the 18-55 kit was $1450, now it's $1250 and looking down. And it's local stock with 2 year Fuji...

I am sorry but at best you can say that GH3 holds its ground pretty well @6400. But saying it's better, when it's obvious that GH3 produces a substantially more noisy image, is quite a stretch.
-
And what exactly that IT what they are not getting this time again?
-
I am not going to compile my own list but you missed one important thing: your Canon choices have smaller DOF and you can crank up ISO in APS-C higher than in m43 to compensate lens speed hence...

X-Trans is head and shoulders above latest m43 revision; apparently NEX is also a bit better. You must be joking. Just last weekend had a chance to shoot outdoors and indoors with OM-D, XE1 and...
