Amadou, based on the conclusion I got a feeling that today's mirrorless cameras are very good that even a camera as good as the GX1 is a difficult proposition...
tarkovsky: On the DxO website, the NEX-7 scores better than Fuji X100 in low light performance, but if you compare the two in the dpreview, the Fuji looks way better in ISO 400 and above. Is there something I'm missing?
at DXO 1) probably you see "Print" tab, where both cameras downscaled to 8MP. Switch to "Screen" tab, you can see Fuji's SNR is higher for any given ISO which agrees with DPR RAW comparison. 2) I dont see where DxO says that Nex7 is better than X100. Both of them have virtually same High ISO scores (which are taken from "Print" result)
It came. Fuglyfilm X-S1...

another smeary piece of junk... this megapixel race madness must be stopped!
Hi, just a suggestion, it would be great if DPR also include the comparison between SD1 with some cameras without AA filter like M9 or HotRod-ed Nikon cameras, so we can understand whether that sharp images is exclusive to Foveon sensor or not.
Torsten Koetting: just look at the samples at imaging-resource while waiting for dpreview to fix the gallery :)
IR samples are shot using pre-production FW, meanwhile DPR using 1.0 FW. Let's hope 1.0 FW has better JPEG engine!
jaja_m: I can't access preview gallery!
thanks, the link is worked now but the gallery has no photos... same with nex 5n samples
I can't access preview gallery!
invalid photo galleries???
Well honestly all of these camera's IQ are... horrible... noise reduction is everywhere even at base ISO... and for sensor above 12MP it seems the lens can't keep up with sensor resolution hence the blur.
I am very SAD with unending MP war in 1/2.33" cameras. Cramming 16MP is pure marketing BS... can't someone make a nice compact 1/2.33" camera with 6MP and good high ISO???
