According to Reid Reviews the sensor is made by a Belgian company named CMOSIS. It is not used in any other camera.

My primary camera is a M9. My wife and I also share a pair of 5ns, with a fairly complete kit. Then there is this RX100 that is always clipped to my belt, simply amazing. Truly ground breaking.

I was also going to suggest the 1.2 Nokton. I either use it or a Perar 3.5. The 35 Chron stays at home. The Nokton is heavy, but it balances well on the camera. It is by far my favorite 35.
