chj: "A kit with the Leica DG Summilux 15mm F1.7 ASPH lens has appeared in the UK for £950 but doesn't look to be available in the US."

To Panasonic:

I have a GM1, I love it. I also love all the improvements in the GM5; however, they are still not enough to trigger an upgrade purchase. I've also been eyeing the Leica DG Summilux 15mm F1.7 ASPH lens for some time now, but I know I'll only use it in specific situations, so it may never get purchased.

If I could get the GM5 with the 15mm, it would be an instant purchase.

Exactly my thought.

Also, how about a silver and black for the US market?

yabokkie: is there any issue with double-sided tape?

The process of removing the grip is provided if you need to take it off for some reason. Reportedly there will be no damage to the camera but I am not sure why you would want to... it adds to the utility without extra bulk, and even looks good. My S90 has had a similar grip installed for several years and it had held tight.

I have this already installed on my GM1 and am pleased... just as happy as I was when I installed one on my Sony S90. I emailed Richard when I ordered the GM1 asking about availability and he returned an email letting me know it was in the works. High quality product and excellent service.

Personally: I will stay with the version of PS I already own... no more updates (only hope LR does not go in this direction!).

Professionally: my employer will NOT pay a monthly fee for my (and my 6 coworkers) software, so I guess that means no more updates for the full CS6 bundle.

This is very sad.

Funny, what immediately popped into this old-timer's mind was how I felt the first few times I was confronted with a telephone answering machine on the other end. I got over that pretty quick.
