PhotoNaturally: Just checked out your kickstart page. It looks good. I think it works well with a lot of casual photographers using small MFT or NEX cameras. Cameras, these days can be like a fashion accessory and your product adds to it.
Your video is good. I would like a more detail video showing the operation of the strap with a camera.
All in all, I think you have a good idea. I'll look at it in more details when I get home. might kick start pledge youP.S. the animated giff is VERY annoying
Are these amazing Miggos available in India ?
ChefPisi: is this camera made in China like the NEX 6? I sure hope not!
Whether one agrees or not made in China stuff are surely inferior compared to made in Japan!!!
Will all my Nikon manual FM2 lens - 23mm 35 70 and 70 210mm work with DF?
What an excellent and honest interview !!! I also thought and written in your forum that Fuji is going too fast and customers are getting confused !
GeekyGirl: The trend runs increasingly stronger toward compacts that pack lots of power, and it's a trend that seems to be continuing full steam ahead. The X20 is one of the important players in the field and has been holding a respectable place for a year now. Competition keeps springing up, with more features in ever smaller bodies, so is the X30 just around the corner?
I fully agree with you . All camera companies are taking out too many models too fast!!! We should have time to study and select -
This SONY looks cool - is it made in Japan or China?
Onur Otlu: I was also seriously considering the XE-2 before this announcement. I prefer the rangefinder form factor, but the grip on the XT-1 is better.
As far as I see, the main advantages of the XT-1 over XE-2 are:- Larger EVF, better in low light (refresh rate)- Much better tracking capability- ISO dial, drive mode and metering dials- Movie button, front Fn button- Larger dials- Focus confirmation with AF-L button
I wonder if I should still consider the XE-2, or wait until the XT-1 arrives in Turkey (where I live), at least to see the price..
By the way, I have a NEX-6 with kit lens, and I'm contemplating if I should "extend" into the NEX system by buying 1-2 other lenses or switching over to Fuji. The main draws are the control layout, good primes and beautiful color - but I prefer RAW so the JPEG advantages won't be felt so much. Sony also offers full-frame mirrorless, but I think the A7 leaves some things to be desired..
I have the same problem - made up my mind for Xe2- ( I live in India and Xe2 has just been launched ) then came XT1 ( which may take time to be launched in India) - but I prefer a camera which is weathersealed .
Great to see PENTAX being recognised at last!!! - Pentax cameras are always user friendly. 7 years ago I had purchased K10D - because of its solid construction and weather sealed body - still going strong . K3 is also very handy and well designed - its very compact with 18-135 kit lens. - Can anyone give me some idea about the lens performance?
saradindubose: FUJI is going too fast. I had already decided on xe1 - then came xe2 ( which unfortunately will be available in India in Feb 2014 only) . Now we have xt1 - I am totally confused - as weather sealed body is surely very convinient for conditions like India - but again it is without a weathersealed lens - makes no sence. Should I go for olympus omde5 or omde1 instead? - but then I am tempeted by the IQ of Fuji camera.Saradindu Bose
I thought this forum was for discussing about cameras and not for discussing how frugal Indians are ! - and because we are frugal we do not go into recession like US!!!!!
OLUMPUS OMDE5 appears to be an interesting camera - I am specially attracted to its weathersealed body and lens ( which I think is very essential in a country like I NDIA) - that was the reason why I had purchased PENTAX K10D years ago. One thing which is bothering me is its made in China tag. I am an architect and basically interested in landscape and nature photography - I travel a lot . Can I am have some inputs from those who are using OLYMPUS OMD E5?
FUJI - I am still in two minds should I buy x100s or interchangeable lens type xe1,xe2 or now the weathersealed xt1 !!. Reviews of x100s is excellent by nearly all. I am from India and my general interest is travel and landscape photography. Will a non weathersealed x100s be difficult to carry around.
