Lapkonium: Chinese company – check. Imitating apple's product name, looks of advertising materials, and gadget's appearance (iPod touch) – check. High specifications, unreasonably low price – check. Now, it's evident that something was saved upon. Most likely it will look and feel cheap, fail and disintegrate within months.

Half-price - check

Interesting to see some people to sign up in the DPR only to write in defense of someone or justify attitudes. Some people is very funny and forums also. Many like to make others silly or something similar. If this news were not here and all this noise, many never laid his feet here on DPR. The defenses request is notoriously amazing. People can think what they want, and the photographer can say what he want. Obviously no one will ever know the truth, all are assumptions, but assumptions have strong arguments that it is true that belief in its generality has been arguing. The truth only the photographer can say, or it keeps the doubt, or can prove that people have no reason. What will be unlikely to be able to make a simple and direct way.

Ishatix: Given the methods used in creating these images may I politely suggest that the DPReview editorial staff reconsider their promotion of this content. Thank you.

In fact, I see a lot of people ask how many of these photos may be made. I know that many are sacrificing the animals. I am not saying that this is the case or not. But the truth is often applied to this type of cruelty issue. Unfortunately many years. While many are amazed by the "beauty" that it really can demonstrate not think often also what is behind the stage for this to happen. Did not want to talk about it, but as it has been brought to discussion, unfortunately I can only confirm that yes.

I like the approach presented to the Macro world by the artist, but, in some images the background kills the main subject. However it is still a remarkable job in general.

Thanks for sharing this set part 2, when the family leaves a photographic legacy, whatever, is always a plus for us to know ourselves and show who went to future generations. The present generation has a moral duty to keep in optimum storage conditions for passing the baton to the next generation.
In my opinion, in the digital world, I think that will be a riskier procedure than analog, but not impossible.

On article Get more accurate color with camera calibration (265 comments in total)

Good article

Unfortunately, the correction of color became secondary to the masses, since the vast majority uses preconfigured filters, which significantly alter the colors, or intentionally misrepresent the colors, because only then think they can accomplish something supposedly artistic .
The colors correctly exposed, are more restricted to professionals and more advanced amateurs who try to achieve the most natural side of the image obtained. But obviously it undergoes a matter of taste and artistic sensibility, or need.
Sometimes I see people enjoying photos to detail, without having the monitors fine tuned, if not tune the monitors, much less the cameras...
