On Travel tripods: Comparing 5 aluminum kits article (77 comments in total)

For this kind of tripod I already have a carbon fiber one.

I'm looking for Mini tripods to pack in my backpack or something similar.
For those looking for Minis, The Varavon have the Baby Tripod T1, very sturdy and can take a large head if necessary. Will not be the lightest, but certainly the toughest, in the class of Mini tripod thats I know.

if they already deliver pizza with Drones, why not enlighten people and objects in "small" areas "quickly" and in "silence" and "safety" for people and material, I find this really fantastic, by the way, I did not expect anything more than this. How can be used for numerous things, just use your imagination and report 1001 Ways to use a Drone. I think many people do not mind having one for walking the dog or taking the kids to school.

Interesting picture below, plans math required to make this work. The Drones many of them already have in your programming called "Security Area" Drone do the rest. I'm waiting for a Drone would definitely replace the photographer.

Beautiful library, and memorable photographs. I hope no one remembers to build a shopping center at this location...

Too many accessories for my taste. I prefer to keep the simplicity with my BlackRapid.

On Nikon 1 V3 stock shortage prompts official apology article (287 comments in total)

I assume that more than one million customers are now extremely upset with this news. I'm afraid it will be devastating for all the pre-orders are canceled. Nikon is just waiting to get a more consistent number of possible orders worldwide to see how that is going to build, not to be much left in stock. Nikon itself has already made known that they want to limit the stock to the minimum possible.
Nikon please, try again...

even so I doubt there is more updates. Free for all is the option. IMO
It's the only way I see that Apple could shake his Adobe. Nobody in the right mind will buy products that will never have more continuity and attention by their developers, and their support. I think.

Mike FL: I like my Lowepro SlingShot AW, and It has three sizes (102, 202, and 302). It is very light, well made, and it has its own raincoat. I like sling bag better than my backpack because:
- Backpack is too hot on my back in summer.
- Sling bag is easier to take things in and out.

The CON of the Lowepro SlingShot AW may be that it is too simple (less compartment) for some users.

Any thought?

Tamrac bags are good products, I personally think they have too many models, which sometimes can be difficult for brand management, and confusion for the customer its time to choose. It could very well reduce the line, and as a result the production costs. IMO. However you reminded me to buy a poncho, I'll take a stroll on Ebay now.

I agree when you say, "that it is too simple (less compartment) for some users." I have the 202 version and is also my perspective.
But I have a lot of bag types, I can easily choose the type of bag to carry for certain functions. My most recent acquisition was the Think Tank retrospective 5, and I like it. especially for urban rapid inroads. Tamrac bag, I have one a long long time a go, for video.

Yes, my point too. No one will lose money for this project, is a business and like any business has to be profitable. Anyone who thinks otherwise is to think of a case of utopia. Anyway I think the original question is rhetorical, but not runs away from the reality of the line of thought, since there are other acquaintances that comes with strength, but soon die at birth cases. As I said earlier, I hope they succeed. It's good for everyone.

I think they are a opportunity venture capitalists that don't care squat about photography. BUT, if we can get advantages from this, who cares? Let's wait and see. the market always have other options, they are not the main as such has to show added value to the existing market.

One of my computers that is not connected to the internet, simply an editing station. For the others was not necessary this type of installation. The link works perfectly, was installed with success. Thanks

Good to see competition, I hope Kodak make the market and other manufacturers to rethink the policy of prices and products. I hope they succeed, regardless the type of market they are thinking. That helps put prices M4:3 in its right place, from manufacturers already well know, there is an abuse in price manipulation.
