dobbre: I haven't read through all comments so maybe somebody adressed this already but when I opened review yesterday at the top of the page right bellow photo of fz1000 there was sentence that preview is base on production fz1000 running firmware v0.3. Today there is written the same but firmware is v1.0.
There is huge difference in that and in our way of looking at this review as a relevant decision factor. Maybe Jeff Keller could confirm does all of the facts stated in this review reflects v1.0 model performance or part of the review is based on v0.3 model?
Thank you!

Jeff thank you for quick response. I'm just not sure from your answer was the whole review done with v1.0 model or not, and if not which parts of review were performed with v0.3 model?

ObelixCMM: So you are at the beach on the nice sunny day with your hot girlfriend, I know this is hard to imagine for some of the pixel pipers and gear heads on this site but work with me, she gets up and start walking away. You pick up your brand new FZ1000 to record this for bragging rights with you nerd friends and set it up at same settings from Dave Dugdale’s “how to video” you watched that morning on You Tube. You want that nice cinematic look, so you go for 4K at 24P and 1/50 of the second with lowest ISO. You look true the viewfinder and all you see is white overexposed nothingness, after couple seconds of panic you realize your aperture is at f4 so you go to f5.6, not much better, f6.3 you can see outlines, f7.1 little better, f8 there are some skin tones but still way overexposed. And that’s it, no more f stops, no ND filters and all you can think about is Sony RX10 with f16 aperture and built in ND filters

I think that minimal aperture in video is f/11
