ackebous: Congratulations stickpointed on winning this best of challenge. Beautiful shot !! It give me a peaceful easy feeling looking at it.
Looks like Rin Tin Tin a famous TV dog of the 50's.
Meerkato: Very strong image, congratulations!
May I ask you about the post-processing?
Thanks Meerkato, it was a 4 shot HDR.
ackebous: Congratulations on winning this challenge. Great shot, the more you look at the more you like about it. Was this at sunrise or sunset?
It was sunrise, thanks for your kind comments.
Hen3ry: Super shot. Here in the tropics where orchids practically drip from the trees, people use artificial flowers for the same purpose -- they last on graves. We buried an old friend on Friday with a mix of natural and artificial flowers piled on his grave.
This shot has wonder composition and mood, though.
Thanks Hen3ry, sorry for your lose.
idaybr: Great shot. Nice composition.
RuthC: Wonderful strong contrasts here, stickpointed, in colours and textures, and the surprisingly tiny, subtle tracks of a variety of animals and insects. A great capture by you, and a deserving second place in the challenge. Ruth :-)
Geo1: Beautiful! Question: How is the 5D MIII in its reproduction of the purple spectrum?
I haven't a lot in purple but what i have has been good with no problems that I can tell.
2nd place in Sea to Shining Sea California
Try cropping the left half and take a look and see if you like it. Make the waterfall the object of the image.
barb_s: I found this to be most interesting. Thanks for entering something unique like this.
#21 is the only one without the .5 votes
I stopped looking after the first 20 but they all have 2 .5 votes, someone is screwing around
thanks, actually the sun was in the back just heavily shaded in areas. I waited for the sun to break through a small gap in the trees to hit just the right spot.
Ragmanjin, where did you go to school, Bush was President for only 8 years.
