Thanks!  I used a Tiffen 3-stop ND filter along with the built-in ND filter on the third shot to blur out the water a bit.

I brought the Q out to West Texas this past weekend for some shots.  This is an annual trip for me and I probably took my best pictures yet this year with the Q.  Enjoy!

Here are some pics I took with my Q at a buddy's lake house north of Sheridan, TX.  All RAW processed in Lightroom.  The dynamic range is very impressive!

I suppose I meant "natural" in the sense that I greatly boosted color information that was already there in small amounts instead of just arbitrarily adding a color layer, etc.  I had seen these...

The RGB channels are normalized and boosted in Photoshop.  Google search "Colors of the moon" to see a tutorial.  You can find much more beautiful and dramatic examples than mine.

Lovely shots!  The vibrant green grass in the 2nd shot really grabbed my eye.

This is very surprising considering the lens barrel on the X10 is black-painted metal.

Very good point. The zoom does have good IQ at the wide end, even wide open.  Things get soft near the far end though.  I guess it would be nice to have the prime for low light snaps of stage...
