The prices vary a lot indeed. It all boils down to condition, model/features and lens. Typically, the F models (2.8F or 3.5F) are the more expensive/desirable ones as they were the most advanced...

The extra speed is definately worth it but I'm not sure the lens is worth it in general. Id save my money and go for the f/1.4... it's a much better lens, not because of the half stop... ...
