Sorry I didn't read your original post very well, you are a graphic design student, not architect (long day!) and like primes...
In that case, X100 X100 X100! Its a fabulous camera that is capable...

Each camera is worlds apart... I'm not sure a fixed 35mm is the best for architecture, but thats not to say it can't be done. It could be limiting (or liberating!!)...
If you are asking this...

I had the 18mm but sold it after getting the 14 as it wasn't getting any use any more.
I would be happy if I only had the 14mm, it's my favourite lens by far... Sharp, distortion free images are...

Really bloody good photos, 1,3 and 4 are my favourites...:-)

Great composition, colour and content. Overall a fantastic shot!
If I were processing the image I would darken the shadows to remove the steps, but YMMV...

I politely request you reread my post. I was discussing my X100. I haven't handled the X100s but I've read plenty of reviews and more importantly seen plenty of images that demonstrate that IQ-wise...

This is an exaggerated statement. My X100 has stunning IQ with great AF.
I have an XP1 with the X-Trans sensor and there is about a stop of benefit at high ISOs. The increase in resolution is...

I'll also add to the glowing praise... Well composed shots, great colour and interesting subject matter. You have a good eye!

As a user of the X100 and XP1 I would love face detect. I went to a music festival recently and every pic of me is OOF because I handed the cam to a non-photographer. Face detect would have negated...

Depending on the type of photography you partake in, it can be a real advantage to be able to alter aperture and shutter speed v rapidly. Then there is the joy of using something that is...

I LOVE the fixed 35mm view. I find it liberating, not restricitve. You can see the shot prior to raising the camera to your eye. Horses for courses...

Those would be my top of the pops too...

They implemented the Q button in the X10 via firmware... It was the RAW button...

My tuppence of advice...
Unless you really want the smaller lens, get the 14mm. It is brilliant!! I could honestly live with just the 14 & 35mm. And I mainly just use the 14mm.
To qualify my...

I have owned the XP1 and X100, both since release. I have yet to get my hands on the X100s.
I use the XP1 far more than the X100, largely due the lovely wide angle 14mm and low light capabilities...

To T3, I had the EP2 with the EVF and I found it a complete PITA to have to fiddle with the little bag and covers of the EVF and hotshoe cover - so for me it was a big deal. No integrated VF, no...

Very impressed, thank you Mr Fuji!
-
To the naysayers, Fuji is a business with an aim to make profit, not a boutique camera manufacturer doing it for the love of the game. The more popular the X-series, the greater money the company...
-
It may not be clear to you, but I shoot a lot of low light and night photography so it is one of the most important IQ aspects for me...
-
I'd go for a much faster shutter speed, 1/500th minimum and open the aperture.
My guess is you are going to get camera shake if panning at 1/60... I will qualify this by saying I am no panorama...
