It has a built in ND filter too.

I'd like a bigger sensor - but maybe 'only' APS-H if it keeps the size of the camera down to what it is now.
A black option would be nice without having to pay so much extra.

Lovely shots, but I think we have different ideas as to what counts as 'slight tweaks' in PP, ha. :)

It's out in April apparently.

Fuji have said the X20 has faster focusing than the X100s, it has face detection...
-
Probably wouldn't buy it myself, but I'm really impressed with the size of it.

Have a look at some of the EXIF data on your own photos. If the focal length for the vast majority of them is around what you get with the X100/s then you'll be fine.If you need anything that's...

They have also talked about compacts too, not just mirrorless cameras.

> though in recent years, the kids have tended to dominate subject matter. You'll definitely appreciate the AF system of the D7100 then.

NR said it might be an APS-C based compact. They didn't say it was a mirrorless camera or have interchangeable lenses.

I really wouldn't bother with those filter adapters.Have you looked at the Fuji XE-1? It's cheaper than the X-Pro 1, but you still can change lenses. For portraits were you want a bit of background...

It's eqv. to a 30mm lens, not 35mm. & 2.8 is 2.8, it's only in terms of DOF that it's more like f4 on full frame. It's a fairly wide lens, not something people buy for shallow DOF anyway.

There's a big difference between 16 & 20mm. & the 16mm is not a well regarded lens.

1 - Wasn't this fixed anyway? I think you'll have to wait a while before confirming this on the X100s.2 - I haven't read anything saying the flash system is any different to the older X100. Which...

Exactly. Nikon's DX lens line up was never aiming for high-end. The only ones that were really interesting were the 35mm 1.8, the 17-55m 2.8, & the 12-24mm. The others are just slow mid zooms & a...

Hence why I said for the shoulder up, OP didn't specify.

>I'm a fan of the shallow DOF portraits.Portraits are done with long lenses (it's more flattering) this also creates a thinner DOF. Neither the RX1 or X100 would be terrible ideal for this,...
