On Olympus USA announces XZ-10 enthusiast compact article (45 comments in total)
In reply to:

Combatmedic870: Costing more then the LX7 is a non starter(LX7 is $299). I dont see the point.

I would take the LX7 over this anyday, unless it really is that significantly smaller.
The sensor on the LX7 is a 1/2.0 vs 1/2.3, so not much a difference. but the lens is much faster.

I am wondering if the XZ-10 can do slow-motion video like the LX7.

Slow-motion video:

I know the Pany LX-7 can shot slow-motion video. Does anyone know if any other camera on this list can also do that?

On Richard Franiec creates accessory grip for Sony RX100 article (115 comments in total)
In reply to:

ryansholl: These posts make me wonder how I ever got a good picture, much less thousands, from the numerous point and shoots I've used over the years that didn't have a grip.

I must be a photographic genius. Had I only had an expensive grip taped onto the camera, I'd no doubt be pro by now.

I have a grip on my XZ-1...doesn't make me a better photographer maybe...but does help to me to hold the cam steadier when I am doing one-handed shots, and also helps to keep the cam from slipping out of my hand.

Hm...you may have a point there. Actually though, can you tell me the name and model of that bag? It looks like something I could use.

Thanks,
Lee

That is an amazing shot! So...this monkey was sitting on top of the creature? (What kind of animal is that, anyway?)
