Placed 5th in the challenge. This is one of several breaches this group of three whales did in a 10 minute span. I believe this is either the mother whale showing her calf how to do a proper breach or a sub-adult (perhaps last year's calf) showing off. This is the most spectacular of the ones I captured that day. Mahalo to the whales for the show!
