That's where the 3in1-20 comes in. It might be just the right size.

Check out the Kata 3iin1 series bags. You can wear them as a sling bag over either shoulder, or as a backpack. I use the 3in1-30, I think it's a very good bag. It also has a waist strap so that...

For the widest non-fisheye, the Sigma 8-16mm DC lens is a good choice.

If I was standing next to Ken Rockwell in a rainstorm and he said "it's raining" I would have a hard time believing him.

Well, the purpose of my post was not really to correct your spelling of "Tokina" but I'd thought I'd mention it. It doesn't sound like the lens is the right choice for you based on what you want...

BTW, it's "Tokina", not Tonika.
I have this lens and use it only for macro shooting. The auto-focus is slow so using it to shoot kids who are moving will not be easy.

Your "practice" shots are quite nice indeed, particularly #2. All of them are good examples of how well your lens is performing.

Bert, help is on the way. Window 8.1 is coming soon and it will give you the Windows 7 experience if you want it to. Right now, you can use one of the third party apps that will return the...

XP is Microsoft's most popular OS. We still use it in my office. Support ends in April 2014 so after that, there will be an upgrade in our place to Windows 7 but XP has served us very well.

There are two older versions of this lens. None of them ever had the crinkle finish as they are not EX lenses. The first version did not have OS and is smaller, lighter, and less expensive. It is...

Their brushes are high quality but, IMO, way overpriced for what you get. The brushes are nylon. You can buy a good quality nylon brush from a craft/art store. Make sure it's clean from any...

I've been questioned once by police for photographing a ferry from a sidewalk across the street from the ferry's property. A "security" person came running across the street to me and got in my...

The same goes for New York State. There is a place in our state tax return to fill out and pay the sales tax to New York for out-of-state purchases. The long arm of the tax man stretches everywhere.

Yes, cannot argue with that point. The distinction is "what is the purpose". I think we all can recount stories of how some have wound up once they flirted with people or situations they should...

Some can step right into a den of iniquity in order to minister to people, others cannot for reasons of their own. We all have talents and limits, but we don't share all the same ones.
