Placed 28th in the challenge. One of the luckiest days to visit the hottest place in the world. The temperature was favorable and the cloud cover provided us a surreal sunset. I pulled over the car to snap this unbelievably colorful sunset.

Placed 28th in the challenge. Looking to the left from the Bad Water Basin in Death Valley, CA at sunset time showed some wonderful patterns with the ground, the slope, the mountains, the sky and was aptly filled by the golden soothing rays of the Sun. Who says there's no beauty in the desert?

Placed 62nd in the challenge. Cows are used commonly to carry goods around in India. Sometimes, they don't even have the strength to pull the load/weight yet they don't have a choice and are made to do this work.

Placed 46th in the challenge. I met this boy in India who spent hours trying to catch a fish without any luck. The innocence on his face is beyond describable. I asked him if I could take a picture of him and he didn't even know what I was trying to do.

Placed 35th in the challenge. From the Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, AZ, if you want to go to the railway museum, you may cross this bridge on small water canal. You will enter the farmland and there's a road that leads you to the museum! I go here for a walk regularly and yesterday the sunset was so gorgeous, I had to pull out my iPhone 5 to take this image.

Placed 48th in the challenge. Recently visited this active volcano and I was really lucky to take this shot as this area rarely opens up due to high amount of gas. After an hour+ wait, it opened up for like 10 seconds and I was able to take this picture.

Wow - beautiful!!! What software do you use to create these types of images? Do you merge mutiple images (bursts) into a single image?
