DPR : error on page 15 of the review ? At the bottom of the page, on serveral places, when you're talking about "iso 100" mode, the graph shows iso 50. I think there is a mistake in either the graph or the text.
It has been bugging me for a while but I kept silent. But now I have to say it : I hate this format of presentation !! (slideshow of images with a little commentary below). I much prefer a continuous article.
I feel better now :-)
Have a good day everybody!
Shame on Nikon! It doesn't enrourage me to change my D300S for a more recent model, as half of my lenses maybe won't work on a new model! And now the batteries too!
Completely blurry, red eyes. Sorry to say, but I'm convinced that vote was arranged for this picture.
These Lens mugs are too cool! I just ordered a 24-70mm :-)
There was no doubt in my mind that this picture represented the theme of the challenge perfectly!
Very sexy, superb lighting.
Great shot! It's my number one!
FAKE! FAKE ! FAKE!These are note real pictures!Look at the picture of the girl with the city behind her! You click on the girl, the city becomes blur. OK. But you click on the handrail, at the bottom right, which is obviously closer to the camera than the girl. The handrail becomes clear, but so does the city behind and the girl becomes blur. This make no sense! So it is obvious that the flash player animation presentend on this site are not real images!
It gives the photo a very dramatic effect. I like the almost illustration look.
For me, the important is that the picture looks like you the way you envision it in your mind (except for journalistic photo of coure where it as to represent reality as is. But for artistic picture, if it is pleasing to see, well you have accomplished your mission).
Would you care sharing some of your post processing steps ?
Hi, Congratulation for you second place. The post processing for this photo is great. You have turned it into what could be a poster for an horror movie!
Would you care to explain breifly your postprocessing.
Have a good day!Claude.
Hi, Congratulation for your second place. The dramatic effect of your photo is great! Your postprocessing has changed this photo in a poster for an horror movie!
Would you care to explain briefly how you processed it ?
Is the photo on the left really the original ? The challenge stated that one must saturate the colors. So would the one on the right be the original and the left corrected ?
