You're quite right, I am disappointed by anyone who wants filter effects at the point of capture ;)
Seriously though; is it me, or are those some of the worse JPEGs in the class? The RAW files show lots of detail in the medallion, it's almost completely missing from the JPEGs.
Are you trying to make comparisons on-line? The best way is to download the full size images then view in your image browser, they are far superior to using the widget..
Chaitanya S: I don't mind those cables as long as they don't come in the way of lens and sensor. this great news for many macro shooter as they can use their canon macro lenses to achieve higher magnification ratios with their canon macro lenses.
The photos on the Kipon website appear to be cut away views to show off the the electronic features .
Albino_BlacMan: Now how does this work? Does everyone get a new camera for free? Can you send you camera in to have the sensor swapped for free? Or are the "beta testers" SOL and forced to pay for the new sensor?
How are the people who claim poor image samples viewing them?.In my opinion they look better if downloaded and saved full size rather than looked at on the site.i.e. disregard crops...this applies to any review samples,for any cameras.(I'm not referring to the "Orbs" here).
