I have the a58 and have no intentions of going full frame. Thanks in advance

Do you know of anything wider?

Just wondering if there is a Sony a-mount lens that is optically as superb as the Oly 75mm. On my OMD it is my go to lens for the sharpest images. I don't particularly care about having the same...

Thank you so much for the feedback. I definitely appreciate it and need it as a budding product photographer. My goodness, I did not even notice the specs of dust until I zoomed in. Thankfully...

The Olympus OMD taken with the Sony a58 with the Tamron 28-75 lens.

Nice photos. It is always interesting to see photos of the Gaslamp quarters outside of Comic Con. It really has a different vibe.
Thanks for sharing

Hey Dodge RockUnfortunately the a58 does not have an ISO limit adjuster. For most occasions, I want it from 100 -1600, but it's pretty much hard coded to 3200 in auto. Anything above has to be...

Wow, Hetty. Preternatural Stuff's comment is far from trash. OVFs are archaic technology. EVFs offer far more advantages than OVFs. New DSLRs today offer live view purely for the reasons why...

If you are willing to wait for the sigma 18-35 f1.8, that might be a great option for you. It's a constant aperture lens and arguably a collection of primes all in one. I personally own the Sony...

I dare not risk linking my review about the a58 at the risk of being banned from here...but I pretty much share the same sentiments with the OP (not so much with the a57, as i don't own it or have...

I bought this for my a58 and confirmed with salesman and other people in this forum that this is a full frame lens. Enjoy

Pretty cool shot of the insect. Nice bokeh and colors.

I was going to completely rule out the kit lens, but it is actually quite decent. Took this at Disneyland at base ISO on a tripod @f8

Here's another sample with the 50mm....

Bought the OMD with the kit lens and 50mm f1.8 for an amazing deal. As a backup, I am extremely happy, especially with the standard hot shoe. I have some m43 gear (mainly the oly flash) that I...

Thank you everyone for your response. I think I found my new low-light lens.

Pro photographer, Kirk Tuck, seems to like the Rokinon 85 cine lens. In fact, he seems to like the sony 85mm f2.8 as well. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong, unless you don't like to...

Just wanted to ask anyone out here if they have used the Sigma 50mm f1.4 on their a58. I am torn over getting this or the Sony 50mm f1.4 due to possible focusing issues. I've read other people...

I've used SmugMug, Shutterfly and Mypublisher to print some of my work and I have to say I will never get my stuff done at Shutterfly. The colors were way off and the quality just wasn't there. I...

Never thought of that. A laser pointer could work and probably would not change the metering too much in Aperture priority mode. I'm going to try it out next time.
But to answer the OP's...
