it will interesting if I like my 50 f1.4 + 5dc over my plan to put a siggy 35 on a T4i
100L + siggy 35 combo will make a good combo I think with T4i and 5dc
if they made siggy 85 into an art lens...
-
100L is my favorite also
...great fast to focus + 4 stop ISI SOLD the 60 f2.8 macro for crop because my 100L on both my crop and FF is better for sharp hits. 4 stop IS is great for this focal...
-
if not macro, the 50 f1.4 instead of the 60
-
15-85 + 50 f1.4 + odin system
-
I'd invest in sigma 35 f1.4 art with docking station -- $950 - instead
-
gain in sharpness also with 5dc with fast lenses wide open or near wide open
this sharpness also has an advantage at high iso where sharpness trumps high iso noise after NR
my combo with my 5dc is...

You need buy the copperhill cleaning method -- cost $100
make sure the owner has had his mirror fixed or send it in for the free mirror fix
spring for the 50 f1.4 instead if you can
-
some of it is unreliable for sure.
but it did tell me on crop, the 50 f1.4 at f2.8 pretty hard to beat
-
agree, Bryan said it was a top tier lens and then posted those below avg crops
-
as stated above, buy a used 5dc and use 50 f1.4
unfortunately you need to get to f2.8 on crop to get sharp in mid frame. the sigma 30's are purple below this
I just use the 30 f2 at f2.8 - but...
-
The EXIF shows this image was taken at iso 400 with the 28-135 at f4 -- not a setting or lens or combo I would use -- though the image isn't bad, it lacks some detail and sharpness and has too much...

agree, reach and fps are good with your 7d. I also like my 100L for reach and depth with my t4i and 60d for macro work. but portrait shooting, the 5d is my go to camera
-
agree,
but, I'm thinking of T4i, SL1 with 18-55 STM and a few small primes
-
I see you have 5d. Nice FF.
sell the 85 f1.8 - too much purple fringing
Get the 4 stop 100L
use your 70-200 when they are running around and IS is of no use
use your 100 L when they are rather still
-
the benefit of FF is f1.2 - f2.2
the benefit of crop is lighter weight to carry around
-
There are good options that do F2.8 well on crop. You need FF to do f2 or faster to get sharp
-
the 50 f1.4 has the better bokeh and focusing on calibrated system. f2.8 is needed for really...

I use lightroom as article says. Many more lenses

This is a public relations nightmare on Adobe's part. Put the software back into a box sold at their Adobe Store. Secure it with a USB hardware dongle with encryption. Adobe knows how to do...

exactly. They lost my future $390 per 50 months also. when they add up all the missing future $390, then where will they be?
