You're welcome to my findings, Auto ISO of course. For the HS30 L-size sucks. End of story.
-
I'll believe who I choose to believe, for now that's Kim. Still I will also try L-size and see for myself.
-
As for EXR the HS30 is not different from the HS25 which has been vigorously tested by Kim, M-size came out on top. The HS50 does differ from the HS30, not only as for EXR but the zoom of the HS30...

Bought it. Zoom is very smooth, I'm gonna enjoy it with M[ain:-)]-size.
-
It pays to wait a while. HS50 will drop in price and in the meantime more will be known about the cam. Are you aware of the "L-size versus M-size" debate? See for instance: How to shoot an EXR...

That review is more like a sales pitch.

I like your pictures. What is going wrong at http://tech2.in.com/reviews/cameras/fujifilm-finepix-sl1000-review/872210/1#story ?

Last week I got hands on one of the last samples of the P510 available here and the first test was indoors in automatic mode with complex lighting. Normally after half-pressing the shutter you have...
-
Last week I went to the local shop to get a touch and feel of one of the hallmarks of the HS50: The manual zoom. The cam had already been tried by several customers and the zoom was still way too...

Does anyone know whether a white balance lens cap is useful to set the custom white balance of the HS25/30/50?
TIA.
-
Concurred. I'm certainly not an expert but even I know that in-camera sharpening is like salt: you can always add it, but you can never take it away
-
I treat it as a report, not a review. In general 5 star ratings are not very credible, every cam has flaws.
-
The pictures from Whar Digital seem to confirm that the AWB in daylight is blueish which I don't like, I expect far better than that (how difficult can it be? ...considering the price) as messing...

No, if there's no focus blur it would prove that there's no focus tweaking in PDAF mode during a burst unless the tweaking with a tripod is spot-on.
Agreed.
-
Perhaps if there's no (focus) blur when you shoot in bursts from a tripod?
-
I thought as much but changed my mind. Focus is determined by the first frame and can't improve during the burst. Image stabilization can and is likely to be the decisive factor.
-
That could well be the case. The question is if other owners of a HS50 (or for that matter a F900) share the same results with regard to color bleeding, if not does Lloydy perhaps own a lemon?
-
Can anyone with a HS50 confirm the colour bleed?

So Panny got rid of the awkward rear dial, good news!
