HiI also duelling between Nikon P7700 or Canon G15, had Canon G5 and G9, owning now Nikon P510 and want something smaller and especially with RAW. I was impressed by the IQ of Nikon P510 for an Bridge reaching 1000 mm but I am also impressed by the IQ of my PS Canon 115 HS.I will see which camera I will buy but Nikon P7700 with 28-200 2.0-4.0 seems interesting for travelling. Canon seems to be rather changing in G series 35-102 to 35-210 down to 28-140, 2.0-3.0 to 2.8-4.5 now 1.8-2.8.Only the 1.8-2.8 lens seems to me interesting, 140 mm with 2.8 ....bokeh!!!
It has ND Filter

I must agree with nixda, for me it is a great cam, seen the specifications of the camera. At he beginning the G series had fast lenses 2.0 - 3.0 (beginning wiht 35 mm), now it has 1.8 beginning with 28 mm, great, especially with better Iso like at the beginning of digital photography. Great for AL photography and indoor photography without flash.
The fixed monitor is perhaps a step back but is also much lighter as G12, and ohter G series cameras didn't have that feature either (G9, G10...)
They don't speak about ND filter in the announcment, what about this feature, would be nice especially with fast lens at bright sunshine.
I am looking forward to the first reviews of the camera.!
