Don’t get your hopes up for the Nik plug-ins. American software companies don’t sell off acquisitions. They bury them to keep competitors from leveraging them. Nik is as good as dead.

Five bucks says Google kills Nik for the desktop next. They want these tools to prop up Android.

Unfortunately, Nikon’s TIFFs are limited to 8-bits.

Lots of insecure Instagram fans posting here. To me the reality is in the middle. Even if you use Instagram, it’s still valid photography, but at the same time Instagram is a phony, cheap thrill...
