So go and live in Detroit then. Why are you in Russia?

mcshan: Sochi can not be as bad as it appears here. The photos are nothing special but I suspect that was done by design. I would guess there is an agenda here. I have seen hell holes in many parts of the world.

Что-то для фотографа ты слишком разговорчивый. Что так грязью поливаешь свою родную страну и народ, если ты типо патриот?

Sorry, but NEX-5T can't match NX300 in terms of IQ, price and available sharp and cheap lenses.

Why dpreview reviews crappy camera like this one and doesn't review fantastic cameras like Samsung NX300?

mediasorcerer: Right now in australia, 100-150$ more gets you a fuji xe-1 with an 18-55 lens, built in evf, 16mpxl aps-c sensor? A complete rigg with a fairly robust reputation as far as im aware re image quality, lens and ergonomics/features etc. No tilting touchscreen, but really , how necessary are they, although great to have?

Why would one buy this over that i respectfully enquire,
if image quality is a photographers priority?
It is overpriced at the moment, when it drops to 750-850 it will be a reasonable purchase.

I've got SAMSUNG NX300 with 18-55mm kit lens only for 400 euros! I'm happy!!! Price is twice less than Oly.

Olympus lies! First EVIL camera with max shutter speed of 8000th/sec is Samsung NX20.

tecnoworld: Finally nx support! After so long this great system is getting recognized.

To Chekr,
Samsung has a better and cheaper lenses than Sony. I previously had NEX-5n which is a great camera for high ISO but I couldn't deal with chunky, not sharp and expensive Sony lenses. So I come back to Samsung NX again. I really love light and optically very good Samsung 45mm and 30mm. You can buy both for only 370€.

WTF Samsung! Are you crazy?
It has NO Ergonomics and TOO BIG.
You should make a range-finder like Sony NEX-6/7.
It seems that Samsung development/marketing department are total idiots !!!

NO, Samsung, NO!!!!
IT is not the right way for development! Do like Sony! Give us a range-finder with EVF!
This ugly galaxy camera is a total disaster! Ergonomics is a total sh*t. And it is too big for mirrorless system.

In reply to:

starwolfy: I don't have a NX anymore but I had a NX10 at its launch. Based on my experience with the NX system, the Fuji system, and the Sony NEX system I can fairly say this NX platform is the best APSC based mirrorless system around and by far.

They are the only one to provide good ergonomics on a small and light package with very great performance/value ratio primes/pancake lenses.

Sensor wise they are quite impressive: sharper than Sony sensor at base Iso and just a stop behind at higher isos.
Considering Samsung is new in the sensor business this is damn impressive they could came so close from the said "Sony worldwide BEST APSC sensor" with apparently so little efforts.

So true. I had NX100, NX10 before purchasing of NEX-5n. I miss so much sharp, cheap and light Samsung lenses. Sony just can't match Samsung on lenses. I hate expensive, bulky and not really sharp Sony lenses. Now I'm trying to sell my NEX-5n and replace it with beautiful NX300.

Joe Ogiba: I wonder if Sony will come out with the rumored RX10 APS-C fixed lens version between the 1" RX100 and full frame RX1.

SEL 20mm F2.8 is not so good and it is not OSS lens. So the rumored RX10 would be a nice runner.
