When a product model called Mini. It would be smaller and less function. When it named with M. It should have the M mount. I guess it is manual focus with the M mount, cannot use R lenses without adapter, no rangefinder, focusing with high resolution live view lcd display panel, with focusing aid indicator, optional Visofles EVF2, metal cast body, less weight and smaller size than Leica M, still full frame and same resolution as Leica M, price about USD4500. Just guess, don't be too serious.

Thank you Leica for let me waiting so long!! This is the one I dreamed for, high resolution FF sensor, live view display, can use both M and R lenses. Being using the M6 for years, then put it down for another years since shooting digital became the main stream and buying film become inconvenient. But I didn't join the Nikon or Canon big family. I used the Sigma dp1 and dp2 instead. Em.., I think it is the right time to buy me a new Leica. I feel I'm coming home.

it seems this version using a metal dial on the control panel which seems very different from the current M9-P. But why no the back view photo of the camera?

Does Hermes still own some shares of Leica? Anyway, it a nice minimal design camera but I wish it has a little Leica logo engraving on the metal plate.

The body design of OM-D E-M5 is very outstanding and look smart. It is not a bad idea of this new retro shape. Personally, I like it. I always think that almost every dslr in the market looks like black soaps, they are similar organic curvy round shape body design. This shape design probably invented by Canon since EOS series in the 80's. it was the golden decade of Canon, which nearly knocked down Nikon. Afterwards, every brands followed this kind of curvy round shape. Including the giant Nikon. Furthermore, according to the performance and photo quality of OM-D E-M5, I guess it will win many awards of this year, EISA award and the others...

just wanna talk about the body design. I don't know. From DP to SD. The look of them are very European style, it seems not from the Japanese taste. I'm so curious who is the designer of them. Every time when I look at the design of SD1, I think of Leica S2. They have certain similarities of taste. I really love the look of SD1. The layout is so stylish, especially the design of the camera back.

why pentax didn't ask marc newson to design some new lenses dedicated to this new k-01? it seems that previous lenses or old decades lenses don't match the new look of k-01.

good idea, but it is even better if it uses QNX platform because it doesn't crash.

I am never able to imagine any camera factory of any brands would launch a camera with a monochrome sensor.

Irresistible! 9fps per second with incredible image.

what reason to cancel the build-in flash? why still missing the AF assist lamp? :(
it looks like twisting the lense ring when in manual focus mode.
Hope to see the sundries comparison sample photos by dpreview soon.
I'm gonna compare the photo quality of SD1 vs D800.
Today, every dslr just like black soap.
OM-D bring out new look.
gimme back the build-in flash!
did Sigma cancel it?

is this sensor also make by sony? if so, the next sony alpha supposed to be 36.3 megapixels or even more pixels of resolution.

it seems even bigger than M9 in size.
sd1 turns to sour grapes. lots of people want it but it's too expensive.
