The 25mm doesn't have IS :-) it is the respective Olympus or GX7 that have in body IS just as the Sony A99, A900,A850 all have built in IS and obviously they can use a 50mm F1.4 on these FF models....

Shallow DOF  at close up or macro distances is not a problem with any system, personally I love my 20mm and it defines mFT to me.Small , light sharp and good value.
