Why have they just brought out the X-E1 and not included this new sensor? I don't want one now ..... why buy an out of date model? Not a very smart move Fuji ...... and the X-E1 has only just...

Fuji could and should have included this new version of its X-Trans CMOS II sensor on the only just on sale X-E1 model. Obviously they will include this sensor with associated focusing ...
