raimundo gaby: I have the "regular" version which I bought in quickstarter, and it is for sure a lens that can lead to very creative photography. Here are some samples:

I don't buy limited versions of anything, but I think it is astaunding how much people care about things that are not their business, like how others spend their money...

A gold anything is not of value to me, but may be of value for some.
Best,
Gaby

raimundo gaby: It is clear to me the camera DPR used for these tests is way off. Please look at the Imaging Resource files and also look at these photos from Steve Huff:

The camera is amazing. I have the RX1 from the beginning, and it is the BEST camera I have ever had. I expect the RX1r II to be even more glorious.

I guess I am "plain stupid" Sidath.

Wow... And this is suppose to be an educational site...

A question for you folks:
If I have not updated the 1.4, should I go straight to the 1.5 or should I download first the 1.4 and then the 1.5?

This is Gorgeous macro photography. I am perplexed to see the many negative comments. Macro photography is very difficult, and the post requires a lot of work. Get a life people!!!! it is ok if you don't appreciate art, but be gentle with your negativity.

I do like my D800, but the new Sony Rx1 is the most fun, innovative, intuitive, and addictive camera I have ever had. This little beast is easily the best camera of the decade.

Just my humble opinion.....

raimundo gaby: I like it a lot. I love how different the camera is, and with the right combination of materials, the design can be very modern and attractive. I am surprised about the reaction in this forum. I just wish they had used a FF sensor.

I have the right to a different opinion. I just wish people would be less set on their ways, and accept that some of us look at the world with different lenses. My observation solely focused on the design itself. I have no interest in buying a DX camera. However, if they had used the new FF RX1 as the base, I would consider buying one for sure. Peace.

I encourage all of you to take a look at Giles' website. www.gilesduley.com
The pictures speak for themselves, and evoke the tragic beauty of our world's realities. I am always touched by artist that understand the importance of using their talent to make a difference in our much needed messed up world.
A very touching, inspiring story. Thank you Giles.

Are you kidding? I don't understand....

How does a camera like this gets a 76 score and the SD1 a 71? The parameters here are really messed up...

And believe me, I love Panny's cameras. I have a GH2. But please, look the quality of the images on the SD1...

Total BS, and unfairness.
